SEPTEMBER MURDER Parts Ways With Bassist, Announces Replacement
May 19, 2011German death metallers SEPTEMBER MURDER have parted ways with bassist Guntar Elsaer and have replaced him with Marcus Khne (METZGORE).The band states, "This development is neither a result of arguments nor of other discrepancies, but of [Guntar's] lack of time and possibilities in the future to share the stage with us. As much as he and of course we wished for this, it is impossible for him to accomodate professional and private issues in a way that enables him to be part of the band further on."
SEPTEMBER MURDER is putting the finishing touches on its sophomore album for a late 2011 release.
The band's full-length debut, "Agony In Flesh", came out in 2009 via Maintain Records. The CD was mastered by Peter Neuber, who had previously done work with NASUM, VOMITORY and WAR FROM A HARLOTS MOUTH.
According to a press release, SEPTEMBER MURDER's "After Every Setting Sun" EP (November 2007) drew the attention of the European press with its explosive sound that has been described as a mixture of CANNIBAL CORPSE, ENTOMBED and SUFFOCATION.
